kJOY Designs is a strategic small business marketing agency located on the South Shore of Massachusetts, but has clients internationally. I help small business owners strengthen their brand values, voice, and messaging to effectively speak to their ideal client and strengthen their bottom line.
I believe in small business owners, because I am one! Entrepreneurs don’t believe in typical societal standards for obtaining success. We believe that we can make a difference in our communities, that we have unique value, and we thrive on taking action and seeing results.
No matter how much value a business has to offer, if a business owner isn’t speaking directly to their customers the business bottom line suffers.
Brand identity is what resonates with potential customers and clients, and there are many small businesses who just don’t have a firm grasp on their own voice. I help hash out a brand through a thoughtful and comprehensive process which leaves my clients feeling more confident with their sales and marketing approaches.

About Katie Costello
I am Katie Costello, a South Shore MA resident, mom of two, and the owner of kJOY Designs. I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2009 with a degree in Public Relations and Communications. I’m grateful everyday for the opportunity I have to help other business owners like myself, for the love and support that I feel daily from my friends and family, and for the health and happiness of my children.
My favorite part of my business is the strategy sessions with my clients. The creative energy produced from these conversations reignites passion and excitement, resulting in a powerful momentum towards success.
My work style is transparent and honest, relatable yet direct and also very supportive. I’m not hired to pat you on the back, I’m here to support your business as it grows and adapts over time.
My technique and system has proven to work for many small businesses. Projects can range from a custom website, to social media strategy, to complete brand revamps.
I pride myself on working exclusively with small business owners because they are some of the most inspiring and hardest working people I've met.
